| MOLISA GmbH was founded on September 11, 2002, in
Magdeburg, Germany, by Prof. Dieter Schinzer and Prof. Leopold
Flohé. MOLISA´s business plan ranked among the winners of
the 2003 Science4Life Venture Cup.
The initially modest operative basis located in
facilities leased from the University of Magdeburg started to grow in
September 2003, and kept growing since.
In April 2007, MOLISA moved across the city into
the newly constructed ZENIT II building of the Centre for
Neuroscientific Innovation and Technology, adjacent to the campus area
of the Faculty of Medicine.
MOLISA now consists of 12 staff members and
contractors active in the fields of chemistry, biology and
administration.
