MOLISA GmbH is a Custom Synthesis and Contract Reseach company
which was founded in 2002, in Magdeburg, Germany, by Prof. Dieter
Schinzer and Prof. Leopold Flohé.
The initially modest operative basis located in facilities leased
from the University of Magdeburg started to grow in September 2003,
and kept growing since.
In April 2007, MOLISA moved across the city into the newly constructed
ZENIT II building of the Centre for Neuroscientific Innovation and
Technology, adjacent to the campus area of the Faculty of Medicine.
MOLISA now consists of 13 staff members and contractors active in the
fields of chemistry, biology and administration.
Since its foundation MOLISA worked for some of the biggest agriculture
and pharmaceutical companies, as well as for middle-sized companies and
research institutions.
MOLISA is shareholder of
MoLiRom s.r.l., Italy, which is focused on the
development of advanced projects in the synthesis, extraction and production
of bioactive substances of natural origin and protein-based products.
